Recently I was thrilled and honored to be invited on a trip by Collective Quarterly Magazine, and to be a featured artist in their Absaroka Issue. As an attending artist, my job was to draw inspiration from my surroundings, experiences, interactions, and create something beautiful.
The motivation behind building me building my first website back in 2009 is a familiar and favorite one to me: form follows function. I needed a place for people to see my work, and a website is a great way to make it happen with little resources. The story behind it is also a recurring theme for me: learn how to make something. I didn’t have the money to pay for a website, so I learned to build it on my own.
